A forte chuva que atingiu Porto Alegre na noite desta sexta-feira (29), acompanhada de vento forte, causa transtornos em diversos pontos da cidade. Conforme a CEEE, pelo menos 200 mil clientes estão sem luz na Região Metropolitana e há relatos de alagamentos, destelhamentos e quedas de árvores em diferentes bairros.
The heavy rain that hit Porto Alegre last Friday (29), accompanied by strong wind, causes disorders in various parts of the city. As CEEE (Electric Energy State Company), at least 200 000 customers are without electricity in the metropolitan area and there are reports of flooding, a lot of roofs blown off by the wind and falling trees in different districts.
Segundo o sistema Metroclima, da prefeitura, o vento chegou a quase 90 km/h no Aeroporto Salgado Filho, por volta das 22h. O órgão também informa que este foi um dos piores temporais da história recente da Capital gaúcha.

No shopping Praia de Belas, uma parte do telhado caiu e feriu uma pessoa , e há relatos de problemas no Barra Shopping Sul. Bares e comércios nos bairros Menino Deus e Cidade Baixa também tiveram vidros quebrados e destelhamento.

Nos hospitais Mãe de Deus, Clínicas e Ernesto Dornelles, parte do telhado cedeu e alagou várias alas e pacientes tiveram que ser removidos dos quartos.

Na esquina das avenidas Ipiranga e Erico Veríssimo, o telhado de um posto de combustíveis voou com a ventania. Partes da cobertura foram parar no outro lado da rua.

No Aeroporto Internacional Salgado Filho, a Infraero opera por instrumentos desde as 22h20. Os voos 3051, que vinha de Congonhas, e 3071, de Brasília, ambos da Tam, mudaram de rota.
At the Salgado Filho International Airport, Infraero operates by instruments since 10:20 pm . The flights 3051( from Congonhas) and 3071 ( from Brasilia ), both of Tam company , had to change the route.
Uma embarcação do Cisne Branco virou devido ao vento. Um marinheiro conseguiu sair do barco e não houve feridos.
