A população do Quénia é maioritariamente seguidora do Cristianismo sendo esta crença partilhada por 78% dos quenianos, (45% de protestantes e 33% de católicos romanos), 10% da população declara-se como muçulmana, outros 10% seguem crenças indígenas/tribais e 2% têm outras religiões.

Os principais produtos agrícolas quenianos são chá, café, milho, trigo, laranja, banana, abacaxi, abacate, girassol, soja, sisal, algodão, coco, cana de açúcar, batata, tomate, cebola,arroz, feijão, mandioca e caju. A pecuária tem como predominante à cultura de bovinos, suínos e caprinos, além de piscicultura e avicultura (incluindo galinhas, perus, patos, gansos epavões).

Os minerais extraídos são a pedra calcária, trona (carbonato de sódio), ouro, sal e flúor. A indústria queniana produz plásticos, refino de petróleo, artefatos de madeira, tecidos, cigarros,couro, cimento, metalurgia e comida enlatada.

O turismo também rende bons lucros, principalmente em na costa(litoral) e na savana queniana. A exportação é forte em chá e café, enquanto que as importações incluem maquinaria,alimentos, equipamentos de transporte e petróleo (e seus derivados).

No Quênia, quando algum feriado calha no domingo, ele é também comemorado feriado na segunda-feira seguinte.

It's football game between the top two teams in the Rio 

Grande Southern. Both are placed in Porto Alegre.

3)Brique da Redenção:

Brique da Redenção is a traditional fair held every 

Sunday throughout the extension of  Jose Bonifacio av, 

next to Farroupilha  Park, in PortoAlegre.

About 300 exhibitors there sell  crafts, antiques, arts and foods.

4) Fogaça ( the composer of "Porto 
Alegre is So Much" song): 

José Alberto Fogaça de Medeiros (born 1947) was Mayor of Porto Alegre, Brazil and a former state deputy, federal deputy and senator.

He is a graduate of the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul and taught at the College of Rio Grande, before becoming a TV and print journalist. He was also a great teacher.

He is a member of the PMDB, having been elected in 2004 as mayor on behalf of the Socialist People's Party. His mandate expired in 2008.

He is married to the singer Isabela Fogaça.
